The 20th Annual Blue Raider Basketball Individual & Fundamental Day Camp, presented by LWC Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Starks, will be held June 3-6, 2024 with daily instruction from 8:30am-4:00pmCT. An Adair County Community Blood Drive will be held on May 22, 2024...

The 4-H Outdoor Club is sponsoring a FREE Family Fishing Day from 9amCT to NoonCT on Saturday, June 1, 2024 as part of "Free Fishing Weekend" in Kentucky. The event will be held at Mt. Carmel Boat Ramp, 76 Richardson Rd, Columbia, KY. Cane pole fishing kits will be provided for kids to assemble, and then they can spend time fishing with their family. Lunch will be provided for participants. You must register for the event by clicking here: uky.az1.qualtrics.com. This opportunity is open to the first 40 who register. Registration ends May 10, 2024 or when all spots are filled.

The Russell Springs Elem. Family Resource Center Summer Day Camp is July 15-19...

The Columbia - Adair County Chamber of Commerce will hold their normal awards banquet and dinner on July 19, 2024 starting at 5:30pmCT at The Barn at Cedar Grove. Once the Chamber banquet has ended, the Tourism Mixer will start to fire up! Bring your dancing shoes, because the Green River Band will take the stage, and the bar will open at 7:00pmCT. The Silent auction will begin before the event and run through the end of the event. Ticket sales will start in June. 

***There will be no alcohol sales during the Chamber of Commerce Banquet. ***

Sponsorships will be used to purchase big ticket auction items, as well as go towards the total amount raised for new and existing local events. If you choose not to sponsor and would like to donate an item (or a few), that is just as exciting and appreciated!

A Sparksville Grade Center Reunion will be held on  Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11:00am-2:00pmCT at the new Breeding Fire Department training building, 13951 Burkesville Rd, Breeding, KY. Sparksville Grade Center was open from 1963-2006. CELEBRATE RECOVERY meets on Thursday evenings at 6:00pmCT in the Pearl Helm Worship Center located on the 2nd floor of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church, 226 Jamestown Street, Russell Springs, KY. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered recovery program based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is for anyone with Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups. You must be 18 or older to attend.
